Privacy policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data Peruze Limited ("Peruze", "we", "us") handles when you visit peruze.io or get in touch with us, why, and what your rights are under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Peruze Limited is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16755222, with our registered office at 1 Bond Street, Colne, Lancashire, BB8 9DG. You can contact us about anything in this policy at [email protected], on 01285 896146, or by post to 28a Dyer Street, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7 2PF.
What this website does and doesn't do
peruze.io is an information website. It has no user accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no online payments. It does not set cookies and does not use advertising or tracking technologies, so there is no cookie banner.
Personal data we handle
When you contact us
If you email or phone us, or book a call through our online booking page, we receive the details you give us: typically your name, email address, organisation, job title, phone number and what you would like to discuss. We use them to reply, arrange and hold the conversation, and follow up on it.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and developing business relationships, or, where you are asking about working with us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
When you visit the website
Like any website, the servers that deliver peruze.io process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and protect it from attack, and is not used to identify you or build a profile. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
If we later add visitor statistics, we will use a cookie-free service that does not identify individual visitors, and we will update this policy to say so.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal data or share it for marketing. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:
- Cloudflare, which hosts and secures this website
- Microsoft, which provides our email and calendar through Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Bookings, part of Microsoft 365, when you book a call through our booking page
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to further contact: up to 2 years, then deleted
- Correspondence with clients and prospective clients: for as long as the relationship continues and up to 6 years afterwards, for legal and accounting purposes
- Technical website data: held by Cloudflare for short periods for security and operational purposes, in line with its own retention settings
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability where it applies. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month, and there is normally no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if what the website does, or how we handle personal data, changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
